WHAT
WE DO
Our mission is twofold: to provide free medical care and services to underserved communities and to empower local healthcare workers through essential training and emergency medical education. By utilizing hands-on simulation and comprehensive training programs, they aim to enhance the skills and knowledge of healthcare professionals in these communities, ensuring that they are better equipped to handle medical emergencies and improve overall health outcomes for those in need.
PROGRAMS & PROJECTS.
Through collaboration with local hospitals and NGOs we are able to provide free medical care through our mobile medical caravans to rural villages, our sustainable menstrual kit initiative and our high fidelity pediatric life support training program. We also provide essential hygiene supplies to the local orphanage
WHERE WE WORK.
Our work is based in the surrounding villages of Moshi, Tanzania in Chekereni and Nahe villages. The area around Moshi, Tanzania, is a stunning and diverse landscape, situated at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak. The town itself is located in the northeastern part of the country, within the Kilimanjaro Region, and is known for its vibrant local culture and proximity to natural wonders. Both Chekereni and Nahe, along with other surrounding villages, face challenges common to rural Tanzanian communities, including limited access to healthcare, education, and modern infrastructure. The nearest hospitals or specialized clinics may be far away, making access to medical care difficult, particularly in emergencies.
