ABOUT
GO36
Created with the spirit of service and healing for communities that have limited access to medical care in rural Tanzania
Matthew14:34-36: And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret. And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased; And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.
MISSION & HISTORY.
Founded in 2024, GO36 is a medical-humanitarian organization dedicated to bridging the healthcare gap in Tanzania’s most remote regions. Our name is rooted in the restorative spirit of Gennesaret (GO) and the promise of Matthew 14:36: the belief that through compassionate outreach and expert care, healing and wholeness are possible for all.
While we are inspired by a message of hope, our operations are strictly data-driven. We provide free, high-quality medical services, essential health education, and professional clinical training to underserved populations in the Kilimanjaro region.
Our Impact Since 2024
Since our inception, GO36 has moved beyond temporary relief to create lasting change through direct care and professional empowerment:
-
Clinical Outreach: Served 1,600+ patients across three remote villages and provided dedicated medical support to two orphanages.
-
Medical Capacity Building: Through collaboration with IMEGH we conducted Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) training and high-fidelity simulations for healthcare workers at the local hospital, equipping local providers with life-saving emergency skills.
-
Sustainable Health: Distributed over 500 sustainable menstrual care kits, paired with reproductive health education to keep young women in school and restore their dignity.
-
Community Empowerment: Bridged the healthcare gap by providing the knowledge and resources necessary for sustainable, long-term health outcomes.
Our Vision
At GO36, we believe that quality healthcare is a fundamental right, not a geographic privilege. By combining direct medical intervention with professional training for local staff, we are ensuring that the spirit of healing—the "Gennesaret" at our core—remains a permanent fixture in the communities we serve.
At GO36, we believe that quality healthcare is a fundamental right, not a geographic privilege. None of the lives transformed—from the 1,600 patients treated to the medical staff trained in PALS—would be possible without the strategic collaboration of our partners at IMEGH, SHU HOSA, and the Naishi Foundation. Together, we are ensuring that the spirit of healing remains a permanent, sustainable reality for the communities we serve.
